Try to use three-pole 3.5mm and a four-pole 3.5 mm wire as well to see which one works for you.

In reality, the gap inside the plug may be 1 mm, which may be the trigger. Many times three poles or four poles don’t work. If the static sound increases or decreases at certain angles, that means the wires are loose. Wires become loose over time, and hence you will hear static, try rotating the wire while listening to something playing in the headphones. Try isolating the headphones and your device because other signal emitting devices might be intervening and making the connection weak.
