The animation is very fluent and very smooth, not one thing about it stands out, it captures the characters classic representations very well. If you're just getting into the series/franchise, and have no clue what the Master Emerald is, from just watching how Knuckles interacts with it, you can tell of how important it is to him, and that he wants to protect it at all cost. Take Knuckles and the Master Emerald for an example.
The animation style captures each character's personality spot-on with no mistakes. Words cannot, will not, and for sure just can't express how amazingly well done this mini-series is. I'd hate to end up writing a book about how much I enjoy this mini-series, based on my favorite gaming franchise of all time, but how can I not? That being said, I'll try and keep it to a minimum ahah.
